Linux Rants

Linux is such a devoutly heterogeneous and opinionated environment that it is almost de rigueur to have strong, heretical opinions about something in the Linux space.

I would hate to be thought abnormal in this respect. I have suffered Linux since about 1995 when I purchased a set of 11 Slackware CD's and attempted to get an X Windows system going without blowing up my CRT monitor. I have wandered over the blasted plains of Linux ever since, occasionally tilting at windmills. The plains have grown a little less blasted, but that is partly due to the fact that the windmills have increased in density.

Anyway, before the page creates it's own event horizon under the mass of analogy, here are a couple of recent Linux Rants.
