I don't lay claim to any particular political persuasion. There's a name for people like me in the political world - we are 'issue' people. We attach ourselves to particular positions or causes, without too much regard for how these things are classified along the traditional 'left - right' or 'libertarian - authoritarian' axes. That makes us a bit hard to predict.
But it also means that there's little chance we will ever form any sort of caucus, since as individuals we're likely to disagree with each other on more things than we agree. This is why there is no Independent Party. Here, then, are a few random data points in my political space.
